Mat Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on strengthening the core using body weight rather than machines. It was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century as a method for rehabilitation for injured WW1 soldiers and from his personal quest for health and wellness.
Pilates with Kajal the instructor would be an amalgamation of: Classical Mat Pilates, Animal Flow Level 1, Breathwork, Rehab techniques such as Self-myofascial release and Banded distraction
– Pilates: builds control, core strength, and movement precision.
– Animal Flow adds dynamic mobility, primal movement, and neuromuscular coordination.
– Breathwork links mind-body awareness and core activation.
– Self-myofascial release reduces tension and preps tissues for movement.
– Banded distraction enhances joint mobility and increases movement efficiency.
These techniques would be woven into a seamless flow to address various aspects of the physical and mind body
Each session would follow the below mentioned sequence.
– Grounding practice and Breathwork
– SMFR and Banded Distraction
– Dynamic joint integration, primal pattern activation
-Trunk stability, spinal articulation, breath-led movement.
– Cool-down and regrounding
